Vessel must be in excellent condition and be capable of having its use locked on in advance. Vessel must be made available for a test run or inspection with our charter boat captain. Senior Fundraiser: Charter for Veterans is currently accepting resumes for this position. Individual must have 10+ years of experience raising funds for a not-for-profit entity and be well connected in the National Capital Region. Individual must be willing to donate annually and raise $5,000 per year. Individual must be motivated by a desire to serve our wounded veterans and guided by a strong moral compass. This is currently an unpaid position. Director: Charter for Veterans is currently accepting resumes for an individual to serve as the 5th member of the Board of Directors. Duties include partaking in major decisions for the company, contributing through donations and finding donors. Individual must be willing to donate annually and raise $2,000 through their connections. Ideal candidate is a retired E-9, 0-10, or SES with extensive contacts that they are willing to engage with for our cause. Individual should be motivated by a desire to serve our wounded veterans and be guided by a strong moral compass. This is currently an unpaid position. Grant Writer: Charter for Veterans is currently seeking a grant writer. Ideal candidate has a track record of success writing and winning government and private industry grants. Individual must be willing to find grant opportunities and work with our officers to write winning proposals. Individual must be motivated by a desire to serve our wounded veterans and be guided by a strong moral compass. This is currently an unpaid position.
