Boating for the Bay Charter for Veterans is committed to taking care of our national treasures, our wounded service members. CFV is also committed to taking care of another national treasure, the Chesapeake Bay. CFV has signed the Boaters for the Bay pledge found on the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's website. CFV is committed to doing its part while boating on the Bay and the adjoining rivers in the Bay's watershed. Specifically, CFV is committed to exercising the following so that others may continue to enjoy the Bay for decades to come: Practicing litter free boating Using harbor pump-out stations Conducting all maintenance and cleaning out of the water Spill proofing our refueling practices and oil changes Adhering to no-wake zones
